The focus of this blog has changed.

 It's December 21st and I've made an important decision. I'm going to concentrate on my tech career and stop doing rideshare. It's occupied too much of my time and I can't focus on the thing I love the most technology. But I don't want to leave transportation alone. So I'll repurpose The Last Mile as and transportation blog focused on different issues going on in Chicago. I will pull from the issues I dealt with in rideshare. Conversations with riders I had. and from news stories.
